MLK Day 2011

Pieces of Peace kicked off with a boom on MLK Day 2011!  We made peace flags that everyone will take home and hang outside.  We also began the conversation about what non-violence means in our everyday lives.  Participants did individual writing, discussed in small groups and shared reported back to the large group.  The conversation continues next month on February 19th back at the YWCA . . . Plus we start painting!
